Thyrotropine releasing hormone accelerates wound healing in hyperglycemia inducted mouse fibroblast cell line

چکیده

Background and Aims: It has been suggested that thyrotropin-releasing hormone (TRH) may have functions beyond its fundamental regulating function. Previous studies demonstrated TRH promotes wound healing. We aimed to perform an in vitro study fibroblasts assess the role of wounds frequently occur diabetes. Thus, we investigated effects healing both under normoglycemic hyperglycemic-conditions. Methods: L929 mouse fibroblast cell line was used experiments. The viability confirmed with XTT. Then scratch migration assay for assessing added control hyperglycemia groups at 100 nM after created. areas were measured 24 48 hours scratch. Results: and/or did not affect cellular activity hours. reduced (42.6%) compared (52.2%) In group area 64.3% 61.0% initial 24th 48th respectively. incubation these 55.2% 47.1% areas. Conclusion: treatment accelerated hyperglycemia, which indicates positive wounds,

Topical thyroid hormone accelerates wound healing in mice.

Although the physiologic role of thyroid hormone in skin is not well understood, mounting evidence suggests that T3 plays an important role in epidermal proliferation. The goal of this project was to evaluate whether the topical application of supraphysiologic doses of T3 could accelerate wound healing. We evaluated mice treated with topical T3 vs. the same mice receiving vehicle alone (Novasom...

Acceleration of wound healing by growth hormone-releasing hormone and its agonists.

Despite the well-documented action of growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH) on the stimulation of production and release of growth hormone (GH), the effects of GHRH in peripheral tissues are incompletely explored. In this study, we show that GHRH plays a role in wound healing and tissue repair by acting primarily on wound-associated fibroblasts. Mouse embryonic fibroblasts (MEFs) in culture a...

Fibroblast differentiation in wound healing and fibrosis.

The contraction of granulation tissue from skin wounds was first described in the 1960s. Later it was discovered that during tissue repair, fibroblasts undergo a change in phenotype from their normal relatively quiescent state in which they are involved in slow turnover of the extracellular matrix, to a proliferative and contractile phenotype termed myofibroblasts. These cells show some of the ...

Recombinant human acid fibroblast growth factor accelerates skin wound healing in diabetic rats through promoting fibroblast proliferation and angiogenesis

The aim of the present study is to investigate the effect and mechanism of recombinant human acidic fibroblast growth factor (rhaFGF) on skin wound healing of diabetic rats. SD rats were randomly divided into three groups: control, diabetes and rhaFGF groups. Skin wound tissues of rats in the three groups were respectively arranged on days 3 and 7 after establishment of skin wound of diabetic r...
